Overall a great week of instruction getting back to basics, dialling in technique.
Our coach Wayne was fantastic, a very qualified instructor who communicated well.
I personally was happy with just the one week as it is relatively slow paced and generally focussed on improving your skiing and technique rather than hitting steep lines.
We had six in our group which I thought was on the high side, however at the price was relatively happy and all in the group were similar in ability.
Overall I would definitely do again.

Group of students were good and my daughter was initially placed in a class below her ability but was put up a class the following day. The disappointing thing happened on a 70cm powder day with bad weather where the Village gondola was not working and so no student could make it to the meeting place for 0920. There was no communication with any of the students to try and find them and the day was presumably just written off by the YES program. Emails sent that morning were unanswered. In effect all of the students in the class for my wife and daughter could not find their instructors and had to battle the hour long lift queues with the general public. Other programs like The Camp organised for the instructors to meet the students in the Village and immediately got lift priority and their students above the rain into the Pow. The Yes Team were very slow in responding, gave some false information and only compensation they offered (after a lot of asking) was a half day touring around on the Sunday - but did not tell us till Sunday afternoon and so it was missed. I had a fabulous week with Yes!, the only disappointment was not being able to do a full 6 (or more) week course! The instructors are patient, knowledgeable and passionate about teaching and progression. The Yes program is a great way for advanced riders to hone their technique, explore the mountain, meet new people and ride with people of a similar ability

This was our first YES tour and we could not have asked for a better experience. The instructors are infinitely patient, skilled and helpful. The organisation was fabulous.

The snow and indeed Niseko were also fantastic. The social program and the people were fun and we are determined to go back. Many of the people on the Tour were doing their third, fourth or fifth trip. Our skiing definitely improved.

Niseko would be hard to do as a first time traveller as the best skiing is off-piste. Having a guide who knows where he is going and who can dig you out when needed was really reassuring. We had a great time.

Kevin was a great instructor. Most importantly, he always reminded us that we were there to enjoy ourselves. Kevin helped me to not overanalyze and remember that skiing should be fun. He also helped us understand a lot about balance – even if I haven’t quite got it yet, I certainly understand it better now. Overall the YES program was great social interaction, it felt like a holiday. I definitely want to come and do it again!

Yes Tours is a great way to experience all the mountain has to offer as well as improving your skills. The instructors are very experienced and inspire confidence in their skiers and riders. And there's always plenty of laughs and fun to be had at the apres events too.

And if you ski or ride with a group of varying ability, this is a great way to spend the week together but ski with a group of your own ability.
