Valdez Heli Skiing Mixed-Group Packages
This tour is ideal for SOLO travelers or SMALL GROUPS wanting to join a group to ski and ride the epic Chugach mountains!
You don't have to be an expert or pro skier/rider
to have a great time with
Valdez Heli Ski Guides however it is very important that you come
with deep-powder-skiing and variable-terrain experience. Your time spent in the Chugach will be far more enjoyable with this as a minimum level.
This MIXED GROUP tour provides you with
4.2 hobbs hours per group for a 7 day package (and if you don't reach your quota, you will receive a rebate based on VHSGs refund policy) and you have the option of purchasing additional hours as required. Over the course of the week you should
ski/ride over 100,000 vertical feet!!
The 7 day packages run from
Saturday to Saturday each week from
late Feb until early May each year. Mixed groups are no larger than 4 loads of 3 guests in each group with their own guide.
The mixed group packages have the option of lodging in a private room and all quality meals, or you can DIY lodging. The heli skiing packages include use of avalanche safety gear including airbag, beacon, harness, shovel and probe as well as return shuttles between the Valdez airport and the lodge. Use of powder skis or powder board are an add-on for those that don't have their own.
