Daily Program
The day will follow a simple program - your group will be picked up by the guide (in the mini-bus) from your hotel at around 830am. Travel to the resort selected for the day. The group will spend the morning and afternoon finding the best snow on the mountain and in between will have lunch together at a mountain restaurant. After skiing, with some knowledge passed on from the guide, you can experience the sights & nightlife of Innsbruck.
As for ski resorts, if there is a big dump of snow from the north, resorts like Nordkette or Seefeld will be excellent, if it comes from the south, the tour will go to Stubai Glacier, Kühtai, Schlick or Axamer Lizum. Or perhaps you are keen on a tour up to the peaks at Glungezer or Patscherkofel. Near Innsbruck, there is always the perfect option for every day. We will make you experience not only the classics, also we will take you to very little-known runs that you would never find without a local guide.
Guides
All guides on the tour are full time professionals with the highest Austrian qualifications as ski instructors & off-piste ski guides. All are multilingual in English, German & Italian. Maximum group size per guide is 8 guests.
Ski Ability & Customising Your Tour
This tour can be fully customised to meet any of your skiing (or snowboarding) needs and match your group’s ability. If skiing off-piste freeride powder is not your thing, but you want to learn, the guide can slowly introduce you to it, providing advice & skills development whilst showing you the best ski areas the region has to offer. If you wish to be guided through the local resorts by staying on the groomed pistes, it can done too. All guides are qualified instructors that can easily spend some time on technical improvement if you wish. If you are more into ski-touring away from the ski lifts, the region has an incredible range of quiet valleys to explore, and all are well-known to the guides! Just ask and the guides will try to deliver.
