Our day out with Coast Range Heli Skiing was amazingly sick – the best sick day I’ve ever taken! Long runs, varied terrain, and all the fresh turns one could ask for – awesome!

The snow in the upper alpine areas was a little shabby thanks to an inversion, but further down the shin deep powder was dreamy.

I’d been out on a 4 run package with Whistler Heli Skiing a couple of days prior, yet the experience with Coast Range was far superior. With Whistler Heli Skiing I was out with a big group and relegated to skiing ho hum mellow slopes. This was ideal for an intermediate, but not great for an advanced skier.

With Coast Range there was only a small group, the terrain was much more challenging, and it was faster paced because we didn’t have to wait for other riders or for the chopper. The runs were longer and we headed down into the glades for a bit of added variety.
